Without divine knowledge, recitation of holy scriptures and the worship (of God)
amount to groping in the dark;
Muttering the prayer, undergoing penance, observing fasts and performing rituals, all
amount to self-rotting.
Making offerings in the name of deities, taking holy baths, performing religious
ceremonies, visiting places of pilgrimage;
All these religious practices lead to ruining oneself, aggravating one's disease of ego.
The remedy of the disease of ego is not known to anyone except the True Master;
Avtar says, man cannot be happy without the blessings of the True Master.

Meaning
Here it is clearly explained that without the God knowledge if we try to do worship, it only develops ego.
Without the knowledge of His (God's) whereabouts, recitation of holy scriptures and the worship (of God) is of no use. All other rituals like observing fasts, muttering prayers undergoing penance, lead to body's deterioration. Making offerings in the name of deities, taking holy baths, performing religious ceremonies, visiting places of pilgrimage, all these religious practices lead to ruining oneself, increasing one's disease of ego, that I know God perfectly. Whereas the situation is just the opposite.
The remedy of the disease of ego is not known to anyone except the True Master.
Man cannot be happy without the blessings of the True Master.
